Australian comedy makers Santo Cilauro, Rob Sitch, and Tom Gleisner created the fictional Molvanîan pop star Zlad; Cilauro performed the character for their Molvanîa travel-guide world.
Why it mattered
It is early-web absurdism in a perfect little package: cheap on purpose, fully committed, and funny before platform-native parody songs had a standard form.
