What happened

While the group proposes ordinary features, Rabasa’s character rejects every idea, invents bizarre objections, and insists that the others have no good car ideas.

Where it came from

I Think You Should Leave premiered on Netflix on April 23, 2019. Netflix Is A Joke published the “Focus Group” sketch on May 2, featuring Ruben Rabasa as a man who derails a car-design discussion with his own impossible standards.

Why it mattered

The sketch became a model for streaming-era quote comedy: a full scene yielded a compact character whose certainty could be dropped into almost any online disagreement.

How it spread

Clips, GIFs, quotes, and captions turned his accusations into a flexible reaction for bad proposals, bad pitches, and arguments in which someone is committed to being unhelpful.
